API Delevan's new Series FW1405 surface mount power choke is a high current inductor that utilizes rectangular copper wire edge-wound on a thermoset epoxy bobbin-base.

Features include:

• Base has an integral three terminal design for optimal part adhesion when soldered to a PCB.
• Superior co-planarity is achieved due to the inductor wire being soldered to the terminals.
• A low profile high saturation ferrite core completes the design.

Specifications:

• Available in 5 inductance values ranging from 0.40µH to 3.9µH.
• Current ratings range from 10 Amps to 24 Amps.
• Rated operating temperature is -25°C to +80°C.
• Standard packaging is 24mm tape, 600 pieces on 13 inch reel.
